Otoplasty (Ear Pinback)
Having ears that are disproportionate to the rest of your head and body can mask some of your true beauty. Ears that stick out or are overly large can be corrected with ear surgery.
Otoplasty, or ear pinback surgery, can help transform your ears to a more natural shape and size.

How does otoplasty work?
Otoplasty is performed under I.V. sedation and takes about two hours to
complete. An incision will be made behind the ear to expose the cartilage.
Dr. Nikko will then sculpt the cartilage and bend it back towards the head.
Non-removable sutures will be used to help maintain the new shape. On occasion
Dr. Nikko will remove a piece of cartilage to provide a more natural-looking
ear fold when the surgery is complete.
What is the recovery like?
Sutures are removed in one week and by then you will be able to return to your normal activities.
